The Problem

Learn Quran Online grew from a specific frustration: serious, committed adults who wanted to learn the Quran were being failed by the options available to them. Apps offered gamified stimulation without correction. Group classes moved at the pace of the median student, not the individual. Local instructors were often excellent reciters but had little formal training in how to teach — which are different skills.

Our Instructor Standards

Instructors are selected against specific criteria. Recitation ability is necessary but insufficient. We look for formal academic background in Quranic sciences, evidence of effective teaching across different learner types, clear communication ability, professional conduct, and alignment with our student-first values.

Every instructor has formal training. Every instructor participates in ongoing quality review. If an instructor-student match is not working, we adjust — learning effectiveness takes precedence over continuity for its own sake.
